Stat Caps by rank Empty

Stat Caps and You
Your class and race will not affect your stat caps. A Hyur Highlander will not have a higher cap in STR/VIT/DEX than a Lalafell Dunesfolk, and that Lalafell will not have a higher INT/MND/PIE cap than that Hyur Highlander. In addition to this, jobs do not have different stat caps. A Rank 22 Conjurer has the same cap as a Rank 22 Pugilist, which is 82. Finally, different jobs don't have different caps on each individual stat. Taking the same Conjurer and Pugilist as an example, the Pugilist won't have lower INT/MND/PIE caps than the Conjurer just the same as the Conjurer won't have lower STR/VIT/DEX cap than the Pugilist. A Rank 22 Gladiator won't have different STR/VIT/DEX caps than the same Pugilist and a Thaumaturge won't have different INT/MND/PIE caps than the same Conjurer. It's 82 for every class for every stat at Rank 22 across the board. This doesn't mean a Conjurer will have the same HP as a Pugilist. A Pugilist gets a much higher HP modifier from VIT than a Conjurer does just as a Conjurer has a higher MP from MND modifier than a Pugilist.

Stat Caps and Equipment
So now we know about the stats themselves, but what about equipment with VIT and MND on them, the most visible way to determine the caps? VIT and MND on equipment do NOT add HP or MP. If you don't believe me, reduce your VIT or MND stat to base. Next, unequip ALL pieces of armor. Finally, reequip pieces that ONLY have VIT or MND on them. Do NOT equip pieces with +HP or +MP. They must have ONLY VIT or MND. There won't be any increase in HP or MP. This is easily tested with the various PGL Favored equipment, such as Barbuts, Harnesses, and Subligar, since they have VIT and MND with no +HP or +MP. This doesn't mean those stats are broken on equipment. VIT and MND on equipment provide the other benefits those stats have without adding HP or MP. +HP and +MP on equipment are separate stats.

Stat Caps Per Rank
This is where I'll need your help. When contributing, be sure you're accurate. To find the cap, pump VIT or MND until there isn't any increase in your HP or MP anymore. Your +HP or +MP equipment will not affect your cap and neither will anything else you are wearing with VIT or MND. Having equipment with +100 VIT won't make any different to your 82 stat cap at Rank 22. It's best to do this by allotting each point one-by-one. Many conclusions have been drawn and it appears the cap for each rank is an even number in multiples of 2. Don't contribute a cap with an odd number unless you have proof it's true. Be sure you're contributing from your Point Allotment's page not the Attributes and Gear page. Now, onto the list:
